What you like best about personal training/teaching classes?
I make sure to assess the whole person and then create a
personalized program that corresponds to their individual fitness
level and goals. I work with were the person is at progress them to
their goals. If your not assessing you’re guessing!
Why did you become a trainer/instructor?
With a wide credential diversification, my style of training
allows me to work with all ability levels, age, and goals. My
training philosophy is based on the understanding that fitness is
an ongoing relationship with yourself. It is about listening to
your body, accepting yourself, and realizing that you are in
control of your own reality. I specialize in motivating others to
be persistent and diligent in their pursuit of being the best they
can. My role as a trainer is to help you unlock the optimal health
and performance of your mind, body, and spirit. When you do this
you increase your daily energy, creativity, attention span and
mental focus, allowing you to achieve more in the pursuit of what
matters to you. Like anything else of true worth in this life,
achieving and being who you want to be is ultimately your
decision. I will take you there when you are ready.
Favorite type/mode type of training?
I am a believer in giving your body some
training variety. I get bored with the same workouts day in and
day out. Knowing that, I incorporate strength workouts, yoga,
cycling, and various outdoor adventures into my workout routine.
Your own athletic accomplishments:
I have participated in various
triathlons, urban adventure races and marathons in the recent
years. Growing up, I was in any sport my parents would let me
in. I loved everything.
Hobbies/What you do when you are not training:
Traveling - exploring other cultures and
connecting with people. Exploring the physical and mental
boundaries of my body and mind.
