Welcome to a six week program on personal safety; mind and body self – defense.
Learn how to make smarter choices to avoid dangerous situations.
Learn to identify and defuse potential violent encounters.
Learn to use and utilize your mind as well as your body to create your own personal well being.

Week 1: Concept of personal safety
Week 2: Structure and blocking
Week 3: Strikes
Week 4: Chin Na – joint control
Week 5: Falls and throws and Ground Control
Week 6: Role playing and Review

Instructor: Michael Moody dba Six Harmonies L.L.C.

Michael began his martial arts training in Tae Kwon Do in 1987. He has also studied Aikido, Capoeira, Kendo, Jujitsu, and European fencing. Michael is a Tui Na practitioner and operates his own business - Six Harmonies L.L.C. He has studied under Shifu Ferreira at Zhong Yi Kung Fu Association since 1998. He was a member of Team USA for the 1st Pan-American Kuoshu Championship held in Brazil, April of 2001. He has had the opportunity to study with great teachers such as Shifu Lima and Shifu Kleppe. Currently he is an Instructor for morning classes at Zhong Yi Kung Fu Association. He has been teaching classes for the last 10 years. Michael is also a certified judge (national) through the USCKF.
