BS Kinesiology, CSCS, USAT Level 1 Coach
I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. Upon graduation I earned my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credentials through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). My training style is simple. It incorporates many modalities blended together to yield an optimal training experience for my clients. Through continuing education opportunities I’ve kept my CSCS certification up to date and have broadened my skills to include certifications with the TRX RIP Trainer and Trigger Point Therapy. In addition I hold the USA Triathlon (USAT) Level 1 coaching certification and coach with E3 Coaching Madison.
I have experience working with clients in a broad range of ages who have a diverse array of goals. Whether you are working toward a personal best in a race, or simply want to stay active, feel fit, and gain strength I can create individualized programs and work with you step by step to achieve those goals.
All of my clients begin with an evaluation process where I learn about your individual body mechanics. During that process I look for overactive/underactive muscle groups, muscular imbalances and alignment issues. I also note details in muscle and joint mobility and movement patterns. I analyze that information and match it up with your goals to create an action plan. We work as a team. Together we are continuously reviewing progress and making changes as needed to keep you moving forward on a session to session basis. My job is to implement a plan that ensures your success, and I take this very seriously!
I love working with people and it shows in my training. Nothing makes me happier than helping others to reach their potential. I look forward to working with you!
