    Choose FOOD Over Food-Like Substances

    When selecting foods to buy or consume, choose FOOD over edible, food-like substances. Have you ever read the ingredients in Wheat Thins? There are more than you probably care to count and many of them don't sound anything like food at all. Eat foods that are as close to their natural state as possible and have very few ingredients. Some of my "go-to" foods are fresh fruits and veggies, chicken breast, raw almonds, steel cut oats, quinoa, eggs, and almond milk. Eating clean, real food will energize your mind and body. You may even notice your clothes start to fit a little looser!
